Mark A. King is a Gulf War veteran, who graduated from IU Law School, Indianapolis, in 1998.
Mr. King continued to dedicate himself to the service of the public as a Deputy Attorney General assigned to the Torts Claim section of the Indiana Attorney General`s office. Later as a deputy prosecuting attorney in Tippecanoe and then Marion County, Mr. King coordinated federal and state law enforcement efforts to disrupt violent gang activities throughout Indianapolis and Marion County.
Mr. King`s accomplishments include the successful supervision of a federal and state investigation of corruption at the Indiana Bureau of Motor Vehicles that led to the conviction of over two dozen individuals involved in fraud and bribery at BMV licensing branches.
Mr. King`s private practice focuses on criminal defense at both the state and federal level, business development and consulting, family law and gay and lesbian rights.
Mr. King is admitted to practice in the state of Indiana, the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit. Mr. King is a member of the Indianapolis Bar Association, the Indiana State Bar Association and Phi Kappa Theta Fraternity.
