I began my career as a State Prosecutor with the Rhode Island Department of Attorney General from 1993-1997. During those years I prosecuted hundreds of RI criminal cases ranging from disorderly conduct to first-degree murder in every Rhode Island courthouse. I became intimately familiar with how police, law enforcement and prosecutors build criminal cases against defendants in Rhode Island criminal courts. I tried over 20 felony jury trials to verdict, in addition to hundreds of misdemeanor judge trials while working as a prosecutor.
