Mrs. Sweeney is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association and Fayette County Bar Association and admitted to practice before all Kentucky State Courts. She is also licensed to practice before the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals, the US District Court Eastern District of Kentucky, and the US District Court Western District of Kentucky.
Mrs. Sweeney graduated from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2001. She also received her undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky in 1998, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts, double majoring in Spanish and Political Science.
